Using what appears to be a business plan inspired by the movie "Spaceballs," Kirill Rudenko, a Prague-based photographer, is selling "canned air" from Paris, New York and other major cities for $9.99 a pop. The 3-and-a-half-inch cans--available through Rudenko's Etsy.com shop--come with wine-like labels that disclose the blend of concentrated air inside.

Besides the obvious lack of practicality, city air is smoggy and I'd have no idea how you'd even attempt to use it. While I might be curious to know what a bakery in Paris smells like, I think I'd rather invest that money into importing a croissant that I can both smell and taste...

if I want to remember Parish all I have to do is stand near an open sewer ! If you have ever used one of those porta-pots at an outdoor event in the middle of summer then you know what Paris smells like !

The idea of canned air is nothing new, I've seen cans of air from various states on sale at truckstops and roadside novelty stores over 40 years ago and ofcourse in Spaceballs, the movie!.
