+1No, I would only jump out of my airplane if it was on fire, and even then I would have second thoughts.reply -
If that ever happened just jump at the second thought, because you may not live till the third thought.reply - Maddog Christian 2012/09/24 20:28:22
+1That's probably true. A fire in an airplane is possibly the worst kind of aviation mishap, especially once the flames hit the wing tanks! After that, you're toast (literally)!reply -
I was watching the construction of a 12 million dollar Learjet and was puzzled with what I saw. They put the fuel in the wings, although this is better for balance, to me it makes the Jet more susceptible to fire because the wings are the weakest part of a Jet or plane I always thought. The wings extend out from the planes solid center, and what if one of the pumps in say the left or right wing cease up? Would that not create unbalance as well. The miles of electrical wires was amazing as well, the more wires the more chance for mid air failure in my view. It was amazing however how high and fast the plane can go. God I wish I had joined the air force/military, I always regretted not chasing that dream. I failed to get a good grade on a test I took in the 70s that would have landed me in Aviation high school in Queens NY. I would have followed through had they took me in, but I was not lucky enough I guess. Must be beautiful to be so independent and free to go where ever you want. Thank you for your comments, they are very appreciated.

+1You're welcome! Once you fly, nothing else will do, everything else pales by comparison...and you can't beat the view.

+1I did it in the Green berets and in the marines, waay before I did it as a stuntman. It really is like playing russian roulette. If everything goes well it's gonna be a wild good rush , if NOT, you'll be the 1st one to know.reply -
For sure, wow you were a Green Beret, that's so cool.reply - JessDeC... Christian 2012/09/24 12:52:26
Hey Chris, good morning buddy. Thanks ,I served in the Army's green berets 4 years, the reason i went into the army and not the marines at 1st was because I thougth the drill instructors weren't as tough as the ones in the marines, MAN WAS I WRONG , I found out 60% of the army's drill instructors were ex-marines , then when I got out, I signed in for 2 years reserve in the marines, since I was recently discharged from the army, I didn't have to go through the marines boot camp ( goooood deal !)reply - TuringsChild 2012/09/24 12:01:32
