Would you marry/date someone with different religion/nationality/race than yours?

You!

i'm agnostic ... at least on that issue, i can deal with anyone who does not let religion control their life, who does not condemn others who don't follow their interpretation

i would never date someone who believed their way was the only way, condemning everyone else; nor someone who was obsessed with religion

My husband and I are different races (he's white; I'm Korean).

We're both the same religion (Catholic).

    We're both American, although he's native-born and I'm naturalized.

Being Catholic is very important to me, so I would not have married someone of another religion. As for the race and nationality thing, though, no problem.

Different race or nationality, yes. Undecided on the whole religion thing. Probably no because I want a man to support me in my Christian walk with Jesus.

No. As far as religion, it depends. How much difference is there between what I believe and they believe? I could not be with an atheist.

Race? I am not attracted to other races.

It depends. Religion, not such a big deal overall. Race, the same. Nationality, yes, because of potential problems with possible divorce and custody rights, and they will differ from nation to nation.

Only if that person promises to attend me for who I am, and doesn't get mad at me for not believing anything that she believes in.

But I am dating an atheist right now. He's white Anglo-Saxon though so there's a difference there.

You've asked 3 questions. Nationality and race would not matter to me. Religion could since it can reflect a very different set of values than mine.

Of course-and why not? We are all individuals with differing likes and dislikes so as long as we could live in harmony together with those differences it shouldn't make the slightest difference-assuming of course, that the individuals concerned TRULY love one another, that is...

Different religion wouldn't matter unless she pushed it on me. Probably not a different race as I'm really only attracted to white women. :O) Different nationality-- sure, no problem.
