I'd really rather not, but if it's a choice between that and being homeless....

We don't have mobile homes here as such. It would be living in a caravan.

I lived in a travel trailer for about a month once and I loved it when it rained because I could hear the rain drops on the roof which was soothing to me.

I have an RV trailer for a summer place. It has everything my house has, Central heat and A/C, hot / cold running water, electricity, cable tv, full kitchen, full bath. If needed I could live there all year round. My wife .....not so much

As long as it was in a very nice mobile home park (aka tornado magnet). Unfortunately, most of the parks here are trashy, crime-ridden, drug-infested slums.

A mobile home is a nice, practical, and affordable alternative to an apartment for those who cannot afford a house.

yes, recently we were thinking about living on a caravan park , we found a beautiful site and picked out a great mobile home, but my wife changed her mind..shame as we were going to spend the summers here and winter in spain....

I actually live in one back in the mid 70's and it was comfortable and quite nice. We were not in a trailer park but on 40 acres of land

Not in the part of Texas I live in. But heck, I've seen some mobile/prefab homes that make mine look like a shack! LOL
