Katie, one of my cats, likes to give me kisses (licks) on the forehead in the middle of the night - grr, but I pet her and then she goes away. Baxter, my other cat, does not give kisses - he head bumps anytime I am close enough to bump
No, I am not into the Kissie face stuff some folks have with animals. I have had cats for 40 years or more as pets, but I also know they can carry up to 117 different diseases and some can be given to humans. I don't lick them and they don't lick me.
I introduced my kitten to a toothbrush as a "play toy" she liked to grab it and chew on the bristles, then I introduced a bit of water to the brush, she wasn't sure if she liked that addition, and then one day I tried pet toothpaste to the "play" and she didn't ever want anything to do with the tooth brush after that...=-/ I still play with her and the toothbrush, but she is still leery and not as active with it as she once was.....what did you do to succeed at this?
Hell no. I wouldn't let my dog lick me either. People are sick. They will actually kiss their animals on the mouth. I would never kiss anyone that would allow an animal to do that.
I will admit however, that my wife says that I am an animal and I still kiss her. Oh well.
i even brush his teeth
