When you become 18 you are labeled an adult, and should be treated as such...
Which includes making youir own decisions and deciding who will influence those decisions, it's called being grown up and accepting the consequences of those decisions.

No, college aged individuals are old enough to stand up for themselves, especially when it comes to drinking.

Alcohol and most things (sitting back with the missus chillin' may be an exception) don't mix ... i.e. ...Alcohol and driving, running, swimming, mountaineering, sewing (try threading a needle!), etc etc

It's not my place to save people from their own lack of self-confidence. Besides, America's social taboos toward booze create the environment of underage binge drinking.

I would try to intervene but I seriously doubt it would make a difference. I think I would call campus security.
