Depending on safety of the partner, the number of partners means nothing. as long as they aren't infected with a virus or etc. why would you limit the choice you have in partners? Besides that, why does the past matter so much? "I am not simply what I am doing now. So, with that I reiterate my point; As long as the partner is safe, free of disease and appealing, I would not have an issue with past number of partners. :)

For all I know, I already have because I would never ask a potential partner to detail their entire sexual history. The only thing that's my business is how recently they've been tested, what the results were and whether they've had any partners since then.

I don't think number matters. If it's a committed relationship I'd want him to get tested but I'd require that of anyone, whether they've slept with 2 people or 200.

I say no, but in all honesty, how does anyone know? You can ask sure, but that doesn't mean you're going to get an honest answer. How many people are going to be truthful enough to give an answer of say 150? Not that I haven't met anyone like that, but it's not the norm to be that brutally honest.

I didn't mean either, I meant wrong about the person being who I thought they were, in the end. You could be with someone for years and not even know that person, that's what scary. It's all a guessing game when you think about it.

I'll be honest with the no. See I generally wouldn't care so as long as they were safe, but I'm one of the people who believe sex should be something meaningful. I'm not saying wait until marriage (unless its your choice) but I'd like it to mean something. Having 100 sex partners doesn't signal to me that he would but a lot of importance on the emotional aspect of the act.
