I was pregnant at 17, & although I would never trade my child for the world, I truly should have waited. . . There is so much life to live and yourself to get to know before taking on that responsibility.

I waited until I was 37 to have kids intentionally. I wanted to have kids earlier in life, but I waited. However, I could not imagine having kids while I was still in high school, not to mention telling my parents would have been resentful for them and selfish of me, as they would be supporting me and my kid, until I would be legally an adult.
