Courtney Cox recently told Us Magazine that she would totally freak out if David Arquette started dating her best friend and former "Friends" co-star Jennifer Aniston.

"That would just hurt me, because I have a real thing about friends," the 46-year-old "Scream 4" actress explained. "She's one of my very best friends, so that would be weird."

Not that she thinks Aniston would ever do anything like that, but based on her description of Arquette on Howard Stern, it wouldn't surprise us if he tried.

For the record, he's publicly stated that he "doesn't want [Aniston]."

I've been big on the you shouldn't date mates ex's for ages, Its a Golden rule that REAL friends wouldn't break, and no matter how hard you try it isn't isn't easy or possible to forgive. I can't stop them from being together but from my experience it'll end badly because my ex is a twat would have thought she leaned that one when i turned to her when we broke up! When it does end badly she would have lost two people in her life. Is it really worth it?

I guess it would depend on the situation.I was dating my best friends ex,he didn't deal with it well.I guess he care more than he let on. I guess a typical guy thing.

My ex turned out to be a Jekyl/Hyde type personality and eventually kindly Dr. Jekyl was gone and all was left was viscous Mr. Hyde. I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy let alone my best friend. Luckily none of my friends are unaware of how nasty Mr.X is - they wouldn't date him.

But since my ex hubby dated all of my friends while we were married, and slept with most of them in our home while I was at work, it would only hurt me if my current hubby did that,.

Of course, he wouldn't dare, he ex wife cheated on him, so we have both been down THAT road and neither of us will do that.
