They do that with patents, not just GM food, but yes. The study on the mice has been brought to my attention and the results weren't as extreme as rapid complete sterilization (I said something about it in a post to Mr.Hood, if you would like to read that). I haven't seen any articles on them causing cancer either (though, nearly everything causes cancer at some point, even normal salty/vinegary foods: just a point). You're perfectly welcome to send me an article as well on that subject if you like (though I'm running out of time for reading articles, sorry if I don't get through it). Again, my opinion is in the other post if you want to read it. The labeling I would agree with though, as I said, I PREFER non-GM food, just not terribly worried about it. I don't live in California, but if I see it, I'll look into it. Thanks.

HOW CAN YOU TELL?............MOST "FOODS THAT YOU EAT", HAVE SOMETHING

    WRONG WITH THEM.

THAT'S WHY GOD THE FATHER SAID THAT IF "YOU PRAY OVER THE FOOD THAT

YOU EAT, IT WILL BE CLEANSED AND SANCTIFIED, AND WILL NOT HARM YOU".

    1 TIMOTHY 4:3-5

SO SAY A "BLESSING OVER THE FOOD BEFORE YOU EAT IT, AND IN THAT WAY YOU

    ARE THANKING GOD FOR IT".

ANYTHING with high fructose corn syrup has GMO corn and high levels of Mercury. Linked to Alzheimer's and many skin and nervous disorders-all of which are exploding off the charts.

I really have not been doing much reading about it. I know there are many genetically modified foods. We actually grow our own heirloom tomatoes and fresh herbs.
I also realize that many foods have corn syrup in them but I basically avoid that as much as possible by cooking fresh produce and and we don't have many sweets other than fruit at home.
It gets confusing when you read about it because there is such a wide range of opinions. I don't know what to believe.

Most of the food we eat today is genetically modified. Does ANYONE have an idea what corn looked like 500 years ago?

How about 50 years ago? It hasn't been that long that we have been poisoned by greedy scientists that sold their souls to Satan!

Now I may have issues with how Monsanto deals with farmers whose fields may have been contaminated by genetically modified vegetable pollen, I don't see anything wrong with being in the industry of making something better for profit. Corn, wheat, carrots and potatoes all have been genetically modified over the generations to provide good taste and become resistant to droughts and insects.

I probably already have. Chances are I've probably also eaten most foods already doused in genetic modifications.

In my opinion nowadays nobody knows what they are eating unless they own the animal or the tree, or farm responsible for the product they are consuming, only that way can they be absolutely sure of what they are ingesting, so if I already eat so much stuff I don't know where has came from, I would have no problem eating corn. Especially because I don't eat corn XD.

I probably have and didn't know it, but I would not if I knew about it.
These guys are testing on rats, mice and I don't plan on being there guinea pig. They come up with these hair brain ideas and start putting them out only to find out years later that they don't work out and by then it's to late and they have already f K something else up.

Purdue researchers evaluating milk from cows fed genetically modified corn found no difference in the milk produced. There also were no differences in milk composition, production or feed intake between the cows fed modified corn and the conventional corn-fed control group. Kentucky scientists conducting similar tests on pigs fed genetically modified soybeans found the meat did not contain either the modified genes or the proteins. Maryland researchers have found no major effects on non-target insects in a field-sized research study of modified corn” (Gene Dreams are now Reality).
In light of all of this evidence, I would have to say that GM corn is safe. GM corn has no bad effect on animal’s babies, milk, or even their meat. It also does not greatly affect non-target insects. I think that GM crops will be the future of agriculture as the worlds population continues to grow while it’s available land for agriculture declines.

There are many GM products already in the works for the future. Plants such as tomatoes will be genetically modified so that they can grow in salty soils. The nutritional content of canola oil will be improved. Grass will grow slower (so that you don’t have to mow it as much) and it will be more resistant to cold, heat, and drought conditions. Grape vines will be able to resist diseases, and trees will be unsusceptible to insects and herbicides. There are many more GM products in the works for the future. The only limit seems to be scientists so far. It is easy to see how GM plants will be greatly beneficial to us in our future.

Extremely hard to get away from, since the Federal corporation (US) subsidizes it. It's in our fuel (ethanol) and sodas (HFCS), as well as many a food item that is processed. GMO corn is the most unhealthy variety of corn going.

Its actually a matter of the food choices one has. If one is not aware that something is modified, one would never know.

Yes... not having our food, beverages etc labeled is wrong.

I will respectfully disagree the other statement. I think we are worth a lot more money alive. What they (and it is not government... it is the uber rich and those that would conspire with them) want is compliant laborers who work for 60 years, pay taxes and CONSUME with out question.
