With occasions like Valentine's Day and school graduations coming up, it's no secret that many will celebrate in the form of a drink or two. And while toasting with a glass of wine is typically not a big deal, things get a lot more serious when driving is entered into the equation.

Whether you've been in the car with a driver under the influence or felt a little hesitant driving after a couple drinks yourself, we wanted to gauge your own experiences and opinions about drinking and driving. I dont drink and drive but there have been times Ive wondered if I was good enough to drive. It'd just be interesting. Wouldnt stand up in court, though.

I personaly do not drink unless I'm at home and I will not drive under any circumstanses after I start. I would buy one to have with me for anyone I was with and cared about who even thought about driving after drinking. This would not only save ives u help prevent DWI/DUI.

like you have been drinking and now that you have this device on you, you can make an informed decision of driving or not driving...i think thats kind of exercising some kind of control on oneself.

I'm not really a drinker. Whenever I'd have a drink I'm not driving or planning to go anywhere. For me it would be a waste of money. For those who would use it would be a good idea to have.

Because I don't drink very often and if I do I usually stop at one, two at the most and that's with a nice dinner or special occasion.
I don't drink enough to make this worth it. lol

Don't drink more than twice a year and even then it's very little over many hour. There's just no point.

besides the obvious driving aid, it could be useful in a bar before approaching what you thought was attractive. Simply blow into the device to see how intact your judgement is at the time.

I'm not a drinker, but I think it would be a good "just in case" thing to have if you have friends you are deeply concerned about
one negative thing I can see happening is young ppl thinking it is funny to see what their alcohol level is at instead of taking it as something serious

Exactly what happened to me sad to say. I thought I was being responsible and had one drink per hour and when I left the bar I felt completely sober... I only weigh 130 lbs... welllll a cop pulled me over because I had a headlight out and I was completely shocked when he told me I blew .15!!!!! It was a complete wake up call for me but I'm still boggled by it considering I'm typsy after half a beer. Now if I have a beer I give myself 2 hrs or I will have a small beer with dinner. Since then I have wanted to buy a breathalyzer and reinact that night. Normally I am a beer drinker but earlier that night I did have wine so I wonder if it was still in my system even though I swear I felt as sober as I do sitting here. Lesson learned thats for sure! :/

The only time I drink is when it's hotter than blazes and I'm mowing. I don't think BO has his force giving MUIs yet. Besides, I never have more than 1 per hour.

Don't need it as I rarely drink more than 16oz of homebrew (whether beer or hard cider) in any one day, and that at home.

Would be awesome also could force your friends to be smart. By saying hey look your felony level drunk. Because most drunk drivers swear they are not drunk. And even if friend tackles them hides keys and offers a ride they will refuse. The only way I have succeeded was pulling wires in car so it wouldnt start. Forcing them to ask for a ride under the pretense car is broke they are not drunk.
