Apple Inc. wants to release an iPhone-like wristwatch in 2013, according to a news report. The Cupertino tech company has dedicated about 100 product designers to the project, according to Bloomberg News, which cited unnamed sources.

The iWatch, which has been rumored for the last few months, would be able to make calls, show caller ID, check map coordinates, count steps using a pedometer and monitor health-related data using sensors. The device may also run on iOS, Apple's mobile operating system, according to the report.

I have not taken my watch off for 21 years, except for service. That is the ugliest watch I have ever seen.

I would buy an igun. So people don't mess with me. It would have a camera on it to show the video to why I am shooting the other person. And it would have various switches to change it to a mace spray, or taser, or shoot bullets. It will have a digital clock on the barrel so I know what time it is, and what time I fired it. I can also put the barrel in my ear for incoming and out going calls. And the handle will be my computer screen, for various menus, in sending messages, phone data, and information. I can also have a laser option that screens a cashier when presenting it as my bank debit card in buying groceries. All in all, I think I have it covered. Now if I can figure out how to make it spray perfume or cologne in the event people fart around me, I would be pretty happy with this device.

Let me put it this way.....I have managed to live without iPods, iPads, iTablets and iEverything else....so why in the world would I invest in something as stupid as an iWatch??

I don't wear a watch to tell me the time, that's what my phone does. My watch is merely an accessory.

Now, considering I already have a cellphone that does what my watch does, why would buy a watch that does what my cellphone does?

NO! I am sick of all this phone/computer stuff, constantly in your face. Our youth live to text and can't communicate verbally. Why is it we are so rapidly advancing in technology but are in the dark ages spiritually? That is why we are in trouble. Too many of us are dead spiritually, making horrible choices that affect everyone else.

Just another way to follow the citizens. Anything that can monitor your health isn't something I want attached to my wrist... People need to get interested in something other than being hooked up to some kind of computer all the time. Put the phone down, the computer, and the rest of it and visit people in person...
