Hot dog vendor "Hot Doug's" was accused of violating a Chicago foie gras ban by lacing its specialty dogs with the duck liver delicacy.

Foie gras is produced by deliberately overfeeding a duck with a feeding tube to ensure that its liver becomes fatty.

Foie gras is incredibly tasty, but it doesn't belong on a hot dog. A real "Chicago Dog" has enough goodies on it.

I would be very offended. Foie gras has no business being near a hotdog. What a waste! Almost sacrilegious.

I think it solely depends on how the hotdog tastes.

Foie Gras is disguisting and very cruel! It tastes gross anyway and I ate it at the #1 restraunt in the world French Laundry! I didn't know what I was eating.

If I want French food, I'll get a fries with that! Hot Dogs are supposed to be simple, I'm offended by the plain idea of a "specialty dog". The bun, the frank and mustard, ta-dah...dinner is served.
