Yes. It already happens at weddings.
If you have a special function, such a reunion, a one time business meeting, or the like, it would be great to be able to dress up in clothes you normally can't afford.

It'd be good for like prom or something. Also for fancier occasions because I have tons of dresses and stuff and like a couple of fancier dresses but I've worn them like twice because I had to. I guess it would just depend on how expensive it is to rent them and how well they're taken care of and cleaned..

It's a good idea if you want to wear some outfit only once, for some party or so. It's cheaper that way, but otherwise... no.

I'd try it just to see, but it all depends on the clothes they offer. Hopefully, they're all high end and super cute. You work with a stylist who gets your personal style down, then you pay $49 a month for unlimited access, including accessories with personalized totes (3 garments and 2 accessories) mailed to your doorstep. You keep them as long as you want with no return dates and no late charges. You just use their prepaid box to return your full order eventually.

They're professionally cleaned so I don't know...the website hasn't even really launched to really see what they even have...

I have a very minimal wardrobe and I like to keep it that way -- therefore, I like to buy things that I can wear on multiple occasions and that fit and flatter me perfectly. The point is not to let the dress or outfit impress someone; I prefer to do that myself. I wear the clothes, they don't wear me. Oh, and accessories are a godsend.

I think it's a bit weird, and could be done badly - not to mention the fees for damaging something - but it might also keep your wardrobe fresh.

Why would I do this? I work in construction and I would end up paying ridiculous fees on everything with the things that end up on my clothes at the end of the day sometimes.

Not to leave out, why would anyone rent clothing they use on a daily basis? What's next, renting gas for your car?

I mean, I could "rent" a tuxedo if I found I needed it for a special occasion, but for day to day wear, I see no reason to rent and return.

I just think it's a little weird, to be renting clothes and then wearing clothes that other people have worn, who knows what they did in those clothes? On the contrary, it'd be awesome to be able to be able to cheaply try different styles to see what you really like to wear, rather than just trying stuff on in a dressing room

I don't wear a skirt.

It's typical to rent these things that you don't wear on a regular basis. They have costume shops too, so that adults can dress up for Halloween, and not get stuck with a Zorro outfit (or whatever) in their closet for 364 days out of the year.

If it's something that I don't need to own, like bowling shoes, roller skates, or a tuxedo, yeah, I will rent it instead of buying it. I don't need more than three pairs of jeans, a few T-shirts, and maybe a suit and dress shirt if I need to dress up for something, but that's about it. I don't see a reason to spend gobs of money for clothes, when I usually just wear jeans and T-shirts.
