    It really depends on the age of said child. If my child's 8, I won't let him hang out with a 13 year old. But let's say 10 years down the road, when they're 18 and 23, it wouldn't be as bad.

    One of my closest friends is four years older, but that's close enough.

    On of my best friends was 5 years older then me, hell some of my friends are 10 years older then me.
