Yes, I almost did when I was younger. I was adopted by two wonderful people when I was a baby. I always wanted to adopt but it was so expensive. I will eternally grateful to my parents for adopting me....instead of staying in an orphanage. :)

Maybe when I'm older and secure both financially and emotionally. I'd like to adopt older kids, as they are often over looked in favor of babies. Plus that way I get to skip the infant and toddler stage, which I wouldn't be able to tolerate. I do't like little kids, which is part of why I'm not having any of my own. Also this way, even if the kid(s) I adopt and I don't grow to love each other, I can give them a fighting chance rather then just having them kicked out of the system with a couple bucks and no support once they hit 18.

But I probably never will, because I would be considered unfit due to my size and my son's medical needs. Doesn't matter that I have love enough for 2 more kids. I am fat, so I am not acceptable to volunteer to raise a child other then my own.

But I am better than most. Just wish they would give me a chance.

My little sister is adopted and we saved her life from many threats. If I didn't have any kids by 30 or something I'd adopt.

I honestly do not want kids, however I have adopted a black cat that was days away from being put down as nobody wanted her. I plan on adopting another cat in the near future.

Most definitely - I don't plan on breeding because there are WAY too many people taking care of procreation. But in that same vein, there are also millions of children that need a home and a loving family. I would also be willing to be a foster parent.

It's a question my former wife and I discussed before marriage and we both agreed it'd be fine if having children the regular way wasn't possible - I don't see myself doing it now.

I'm actually considering it might be a good idea when I am more financially stable. Also responsibility would, but I would even if I had a kid, my mate has had two already and he plans to adopt once he's more financially stable.

I could not handle it, as kids generally annoy me. Furthermore, and this may portray me in a bad light, I am just not ready for that kind of responsibility. School, work, going to the gym, etc; those are responsibilities I can handle. Being responsible for the life of another person? I do not think I am up to the challenge. I have enough problems taking care of myself.
