Would you accuse Rosie O'Donnell of having Down Syndrome just because she has the same physical characteristics?

As most of you already know a picture of a young girl was mocked and made fun of here on SodaHead by liberals solely because of her physical appearance!

She was called "That Down Syndrome Kid" and "That Freak With Special Needs"

So why aren't they attacking Rosie O'Donnell because of her physical appearance?

Rosie O'Donnell does not have Down's Syndrome and does not share any of the characteristics of a person with Down's Syndrome. The physical characteristics of someone with Down's Syndrome are easily identifiable by even someone as ignorant as yourself, and when you ridicule a child with Down's Syndrome just to be an immature pest you not only exhibit cruelty but severe ignorance. I'm not sure why you're trying so hard to further humiliate yourself by repeatedly calling attention to your own cruelty, and I don't really want to know why.

Children with Down's Syndrome have a valid excuse for having mental and developmental difficulties. What's your excuse?

O'Donnel doesn't have Down Syndrome. She was born with a permanent scowl. Liberal/conservative notwithstanding, she has one of the truly nastiest personalities I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. Her kind of ugly has nothing to do with physical features: it's heart-deep.

As the mother of a young lady with Down's Syndrome, I find this whole discussion ridiculous. If anyone looks or acts like my daughter, they are fortunate ... lovely from the inside out.

rosie odonnell does not even come close to the characteristics of downs syndrome. i know several kids with downs because my son is a special needs kid and there is a huge difference in the appearance.

No, you can't limit an evaluation for Down Syndrome to looking at someone's physical appearance. If that were the case, I suspect everyone would think liberals all had Down Syndrome.

lol. Not in this case. Just consider yourself lucky. I'm glad to see SH on top of this one. Another site I visit has no moderators, a political site and folks 'moderate each other'. She wouldn't last 5 minutes there. Too much uncontrolled hostility. I hope she gets help. Seriously.
