Just for fun and to be spiteful, I would pretend to be serious in dramatically rebuking "The Demon of Contention" from this relative. I bet it would piss the person off and hurt their feelings at the same time.

I have 3 brothers that are smokers, they go behind the house so the nieces and nephews do not see them smoke. One day my 3 year old sneaked on one of my brothers while he was smoking and asked him why he was smoking? He said because "I'm stupid", she sat there next to him and by the time I got there she asked him " Why was he stupid?"

If I was on my own property and someone..I do not care who.. gives me grief for smoking I would not get mad but tell them to kiss my azz and tell them to leave before I get mad and get my ice pick...LOL..

I wouldn't be having anything to do with this family member, That is also why smokers won't quit sometimes, Because of someone's unwanted nagging.You need to record this on your cell phone and bring it to other family member's attention of what they are doing to you.

Considering the person in question continued to be a pest rather than say their piece and walk away, yeah. That'd be a little annoying.

America needs strong, healthy, smart people - we NEED you to be strong, healthy and smart ... PLEASE quit - i have no personal stake in this (other than if you get sick and die from this i lose a friend ... well, a SO acquaintance, anyway, but you never know!) ... i used to smoke, i know how enjoyable it is ... it is a bad kind of enjoyment ... an unhealthy kind of enjoyment ... please just quit ... ask people who know you closely, see what they say (except please ignore those who tell you it is OK to smoke) ... please quit. please.

Of course. I used to smoke and harping on a smoker only pisses the smoker off and makes him want another cigarette. People who smoke know it's an unhealthy habit so shut the heck up, you're not telling him something he doesn't already know. I would simply ignore the person or tell them if they don't like the smoking they can leave at anytime, no one's forcing them to stay. I personally don't like cigarette smoking but I don't think God cares if you do either. I think he's more worried about the state of our hearts and souls. Don't sweat it much, there is always going to be someone like that around.
