In the movie, a drug is created that suppresses human emotion. People no longer feel fear, grief, anger, or hatred. But they also never feel love, joy, happiness, or anything else. Would it be better for the world or just boring.

Lets neuter you and hop you up on pills and tell you what you can and can't do.
Sounds like a filling life...
If we didn't have emotions, we would be like robots, okay we've clarified that. And if the world was run by robots, then it would be much better, right? But robots are programmed to know things and not forget them, they can figure things out on their own (super intelligence). Humans arn't like that, they have a limited knowledge, with emotion or without. They'll still screw up, probably a lot more than they do now, because they need emotions to differentiate between right and wrong, Robots do not. So if the world was run by robots it would be an improvement, but humans without emotions arnt robots.
To be like robots, humans have to understand how everything works. That way they can figure out how to solve problems. Plus a human's life time isn't very long, so whenever they do die they would have to learn everything all over again (and that would take a while).
