    I don't work but my mom works at a restaurant as dishwasher. It's horrible. She has to stand for many hours and sometimes she gets cut really badly. Sometimes she goes in at 3pm and ends up coming out at 3am. Now that i think about it my mom's a hero! lol

    Babysitting.. Doesnt Sound Bad, Does It?
    Well My First Job Was A 2 Year Old And A 8 Month Old, Both Boys. I Had To Change The Little Ones Dipper And He Peed STRAIGHT UP ON MY SHIRT. Ewww.. :c
    And The Older One Threw Toys At Me For Hours.. evil children

    Yankee Candle. That job made me want to kill myself, literally. I don't know what it was. It also gave me panic attacks (but so does my current job). At least I smelled good when I got out of work!

    only had a few jobs, i spose the worst was working in admin for a few months, with a female boss who was a total tool. to me any job is a bad job. thats why i work for myself. i wouldnt do a normal job again if you paid me 5 times more than i make now.

    I agree with you there, when I was unemployed I was willing to do almost any job, only exception was doing anything illegal.

    Hmm, I dunno. I haven't personally been unemployed but I have seen studies that show being in a crappy job you hate makes you far more depressed than being out of work. Depends on the person and their circumstances though, I guess..

    Working in a foundry on the top shaker.... temps would hit around 120.. eye goggles would fill with sweat, almost impossible to drink enough water to keep you hydrated.. I stuck it out for a month until I started coughing up blood, then I knew it was time to move on

    Building Creosolt Bridges . . . In the hot sun when the Creosolt was bubbling like oil on the pre-treated lumber and was hot as gasoline. Every time your 12-pound sledge-hammer would impact a 16-penny nail the black hot gasoline subtance would splatter all over your face. Sometkmes while down in the water, you would have the Creosolt floating on top and penetrating all of your body. The teenagers now days have it made; it's no wonder they can afford to eat, drink, and smoke Triclosan; the active ingredient in hand sanatizers. Times have definitely changed.

    The wording there imprinted on the Warning Sign does not really give one the true-picture of what this dangerous substance was all about . . . As "Coating" would only make it seem to be a "paint covering the lumber" whereas, all of the building material was SOAKED IN THE OILY SUBSTANCE . . . . Not only coated but totally soaked and fully saturated. Creosote, btw, is what makes Timber Telephone Polls black in color; hence, the whole purpose of the protective material helps to prolong the "life" of the wood; protecting it from the weather, so to speak.     It's not a good scene. I worked Hallowe'en, when people were running around in masks, carrying bags. Only stayed with it for a few months... left because I got bored with it. :O)
