Worst Job You Ever Had?

Working as a summer day camp counselor. I did love being a counselor. I really loved working with the kids. But the program that ran the summer camps was terrible. First, the assistant director of the camp was rude to me on many occasions. She actually, at one point, got so into a game we were playing with the kids that she tripped me and knocked me down. I had huge bruises to prove it. Second, the director of the camp's boss (the director was hired because her boss didn't want to actually deal with running the camp even though it was his camp) was in charge of my time sheets, but he wouldn't sign them or turn them into the payroll office in time. I didn't get any of my paychecks on time, and the only reason I got them at all was because I complained to payroll multiple times about him. Guess what? They knew what he was like, but were hesitant to do anything because he was kind of a bigshot. Third, I didn't even get to work the entire summer. Two other counselors were hired for the camp, but enrollment was way down so we were all on a rotating schedule. And, to think that I spent two years to get into that program, and I finally got in and I wound up working at that crappy camp. Oh yeah, and this was my first real paying job that wasn't babysitting.

Trying to get yuppies to support the environment by going door to door in 100 degree weather with high humidity. That was the worst job. It was lonely, hot, boring and sometimes scary. A few nice elderly people donated, but from - everyone else- zipo! I don't blame them really. But if these people are rich and in the PAST they supported the organization(there were lots of environmentalists on the list) why couldn't they give me a small payment and make my day? I got fired for not making enough money. At least a made a few hundred dollars before I had to go!

One man sounded very interested when I approached him. He later told me that he was one of the developers that was interested in developing the area we were trying to protect.

Working in a Mexican restaurant. I had to serve lemonade and make Mexican nacho's that tasted horrible and smelled bad. I couldn't believe the people who would love to eat it.The nacho's had sour cream, pig skins, avocado and cheese and some would put cactus skins on top.

Working at a Saw Mill.

I never had a job before so i would not . What the worse job is.Maybe i can answe this question in the future.

I worked in a factory, and unfortunately for me, I worked on the floor that had the oven.. If it was 80 outside, it would be 120 degrees inside. Gosh how I hated that job, but I did love the pay check...Guess there could have been worse jobs than that one... : )

Working at Waffle House. My first day a drunk old man came in at 2 in the afternoon and cussed out the staff and entire restaurant. He said things to my manager that made her cry. We had to call the cops.

It never got better.

not having one. i've never had a job. it sucks. and all the jobs i've applied to.... suck.

Scooping up cow patties in the pasture for my neighbors garden, I had to scoop till we had a truck bed full, or it might of been having to pluck chickens after they had been dipped in boiling hot water and boy do wet chickens stink

I have done a few of them in my life time, but many more chickens. Ever scraped a dead hog so you could use the skin to render out lard and fry up cracklings?

Well, I just lost my love for spicy pork rinds.

If they don't scrap the hair of the hogs, then they have to skin them. Scraping a hog is really not so bad.

No but I know about that seen them butchered and I know its a huge job .

It does take some time to work a hog up, usually when it got cold enough my dad would kill one and we would process it, smoking the ham and bacon and using some meat to mix with deer meat to make sausage, which was also smoked. My mom would fry the skin to render out the lard and make cracklings. It took us from Friday till late Sunday to get all this done, and then the smoke house needed to be tended till the meat was cured.

I butchered a deer one time when I was out of work , It made me sick to kill the deer . I couldnt do it now got to soft in my old age .

When we were younger, hubby use to deer hunt to supplement our groceries. He gave it up once we could afford to. He even practices catch and release when we go fishing.

One morning a neighbor hit a deer with his car and another fellow came along and wanted its horns , he had a hacksaw in his tool box and he sawed the horns off just as he got the second one sawed off the deer came to and tried to gore him with its hornless head . It was a crazy sight to see

I was drinking water by the gallon but still passed out in the damn thing once. Plus its real hard to get dates looking like that.

I worked at a recycling plant, The metal department was good. The electronic department was good. The part I hated was when I got transfered to sort the curbside recycling, it ruined my back.

I've never had a job. I am brain damaged from a car accident.
