No. I would never marry someone that big.

I have to admit that I would not. When someone is morbidly obese, their health and life expectancy are drastically lowered. I would want to marry someone I could grow old with, not someone I'd have to watch die.

as a pre-med student i do regard obesity as a disease. i would marry someone like this as long as they were in a healthy progress of losing weight.

I don't think beauty=love. If you really love each other, then go for it. I actually did see a special on him and she was in it. Good Luck to them.

There is no way I would ever marry somebody that big. I hate to sound shallow, but it really grosses me out, and not only that, I don't want the burden of their life choices. I couldn't imagine all the health problems this guy has and it is obvious I would be the bread winner in the relationship. I wouldn't want all of my efforts to be wasted on somebody who made such a horrible life choice.

the other choice was beauty doesn't count, but this says something about personality, self-control, and self-image. All three are very important to me in finding a partner.

There is a difference between not marrying someone because they aren't "beautiful" (which is wrong) and not marrying someone because their morbid obesity hinders them from daily activities. I don't want to marry someone I have to care for like an invalid because they can't put the fork down. Obesity of that stature speaks into one's character.
Like I said, I wouldn't do it, but if she wants to marry him then thats great for them I guess.

Call me vain but I watch my weight etc., etc... and would prefer to be with someone that also take care of themselves. Now on the other hand, my ex put on weight but I still loved her the same... actually more and the weight didn't matter to me. For those that may be asking... we split because she started acting... crazy let's say. Not because of her weight.

Yes. Beauty doesn't count, true love does.

Love is where you find it.
If the external package offends you, then you're unlikely to even spend enough time in the person's company to get to know them, let alone fall in love.
You don't chose who to love, it simply doesn't work that way.

True love really is blind. There is no reason to think that a person is no worth loving based on shallow things like looks, money, race, religion.

when someone is alcoholic or drug addicted, you cannot see that from the outside, his addiction is just painfully obvious and on the outside. I applaude his girlfriend for seeing his heart and helping him on the road to recovery.

HONESTLY I WOULD NOT MARRY A GUY THIS SIZE. IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF THE SIZE. IT'S BECAUSE THERE WOULDN'T BE A POINT MARRYING A GUY THAT CANNOT MOVE, THAT YOU WOULD JUST HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF ALL THE TIME. YES, WHEN YOU ARE MARRIED TO SOMEONE YOU HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THEM IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE WIFE. SHE WOULD WANT TO GO OUT HAVE DINNER, GO TO THE MOVIES, GO DANCING, AND BY MARRYING SOMEONE THAT SIZE, U WOULDN'T BE A BLE TO GO ANYWHERE BECASUE HE CAN'T MOVE. U WOULD RATHER STAY SINGLE INTEAD OF BEING WITH SOMEONE U DON'T CARE ABOUT. BUT THEIR IS WOMEN WHO DON'T CARE AS LONG AS THEY HAVE LOVE, BUT FOR MY POINT OF VIEW I WOULDN'T. IT'S SUCKS BUT YOU WANT TO MARRY SOMEONE HEALTHY NOT SOMEONE WHO'S LIFE IS IN DANGER AND THAT SOON WOULD DIE.
