We're starting to wonder if this is all just a big stunt. Samantha Brick, a 41-year-old British journalist who lives in France, wrote an article for
The Daily Mail in which she complains about being, well, too "good-looking" and too "pretty." Only problem? Most readers don't agree with her self-assessment.

"While I’m no Elle Macpherson, I’m tall, slim, blonde and, so I’m often told, a good-looking woman. I know how lucky I am. But there are downsides to being pretty -- the main one being that other women hate me for no other reason than my lovely looks," she writes. "It is not just jealous wives who have frozen me out of their lives. Insecure female bosses have also barred me from promotions at work. Unfortunately women find nothing more annoying than someone else being the most attractive girl in a room."
As a result of her hardships, Brick is probably the only woman in the world looking forward to becoming
less attractive. "So now I’m 41 and probably one of very few women entering her fifth decade welcoming the decline of my looks. I can’t wait for the wrinkles and the grey hair that will help me blend into the background," she writes.
The article quickly went viral, and even became a trending topic on Twitter, with most commenters completely baffled by Brick's self-confidence. Do you think Brick is as pretty as she says she is?
If they were 60-f*****-years old and blind as bats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People and their egos these days.Ughhhhhhhhhhhh.
But she isn't ugly. She's just an average looking person. Nothing special. But then neither am I. So I can't cut anyone down.
This lady below is extraordinarily beautiful.
Padma Lakshmi
Perhaps the other women hate her not because of her looks, but because she's delusional and more than likely, an extreme idiot. Look into her eyes, you can see the stupidity brewing :D
conceited.
