Rosy Mizrachi Gindi of Brooklyn got a $10,000 ring stuck on her finger while at the East 57th Street Chanel store. Both the ring and her finger were intact after a three hour emergency room visit, but now Gindi is suing Chanel for unspecified damages.
Does Gindi have a case or is this just another ridiculous lawsuit?
Doctors were able to remove the ring—which her lawyer says is worth "at least $10,000"—without cutting it. (Were there Chanel security guards looming over their shoulders at the hospital, perhaps?) Now, she's suing Chanel for unspecified damages in Brooklyn Supreme Court. We're kind of thinking that maybe the lawsuit is to cover up the embarrassment of getting caught in Chanel trying to squeeze a too-small ring on your finger and getting it stuck in front of the salespeople.

Sidenote: getting a ring stuck on my finger is one of my greatest fears.
If you are too stupid to not know, that's okay, but don't blame and/or sue the store you bought it in, cuz it's your own damn fault, that your finger was stuck in the first place right?
Didn't Brittany Spears have charges filed for doing "something similar" with a necklace?
