Combined with fans, and ceiling fans. Works great and a lot cheaper than AC.

no need to keep cool in Scotland. on a good day we can turn the radiators off and that's it!!

well occasionally it gets slightly hot... i have been sunburned in Scotland many times.... but the heat isn't bad enough that inside the house is badly affected. just open the window and that's it!!

Doesn't often get too hot in England. I have a powerful fan to keep the bedroom cool at night when it's necessary, and chilled beer to cool me down in the daytime :-D

Gas-fired heating system. Theres a gas boiler that heats up a series of radiators around the house.

and in Scotland it's even worse!!!

at least England had that heatwave in summer 2006, i was there at the time, it was sooo hot!!

We got those solar screens and they keep our house cooler but when it gets hotter, we use the ceiling fans or the a/c.
