Willow Smith Dyes Her Hair Green: Love It or Hate It?

It was only a month ago that Willow Smith shaved her head -- and now that a little hair has grown back, she's decided to dye it green, as she reveals in new photos posted to her Instagram account.

Just last week, the 11-year-old "Whip My Hair" singer dyed her hair blonde, The Daily Mail reports, but apparently, that was too conventional for the quirky star. Meanwhile, she recently tweeted: "I am regular person ... Nobody has a PICTURE PERFECT life… I am still just a child…"

Willow Smith, daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, is set to appear in a movie adaptation of comic book series "Amulet" with her brother, Jaden. She's also starring in a remake of "Annie," produced by rapper Jay-Z. "We're developing a true superstar in Willow," he said in a statement last January.

Willow has been promoting her song "Fireball" featuring Nicki Minaj, and she'll release her self-titled, debut album on April 3 (the album will include "Fireball"). Since her debut in 2007's "I Am Legend," Willow has become known for her outlandish (and trend-setting) fashion sense. One thing's for sure -- Willow Smith has certainly stayed true to her song lyric: "Don’t matter if it’s long, short/Do it, do it whip your hair!"

    I hate it that her dad & mom are famous, so she thinks she can be famous....
    No offense but her music is TERRIBLE, i'd rather listen to 3hours of 'Kids bop' Then listen to her for 4 seconds. I mean i guess they just want their kids to do well but, her "singing" isn't doing anyone, anywhere, any good. lol I'm sorry if i sound rude, but i actually like MUSIC :) happy bunny

    I really don't mind either way. Green isn't the color I would choose, but it's her hair. Of all the child stars, it seems she's the most firmly rooted in reality.

    If that is how she wants to express herself then I think that she should be able to. She isn't hurting anybody by having her hair like that lol I see a lot of young kids coloring their hair weird and wacky colors. If her parents are letting her express herself that way then there is nothing no one else can do about it. She's a really pretty girl everyone goes through different phases as they are growing up:D

    Because her parents are famous so she is riding their coat tails. I am no fan of either Jada or Will so I don't care what their daughter is doing. If people want to buy Willow's record, it is their business as long as I don't have to listen.

    I don't really love it or hate it. It's her style and that's her business. I am impressed her parents let her express herself like that. Most parents stifle their children's self expression because they (the parents) don't like it. You don't have to like it. It's not your hair, it's not your body.

    She's only 11, give her a little credit. Besides, "music," the way you use it, is subjective. It's fine to not like her style of music, but there are others that do. Just saying.

    Its hard to really tell the close up from the cropped picture but it looks good. I like the short hair with the color. I also think she is wearing a TTC Goblin shirt...thumbs up for that.

    I actually do. Loved the series when I was a kid. The English really knew what entertaining TV was all about...Just a thought...
