Will you see your dad on father's day?

He passed away at age 98 last October,.....will be visiting his grave this Sunday.

I always get depressed this time of year because I won't.

I meant no, I clicked no. We haven't talked to each other since 2003, it's just complicated

Nope i just dont want anything to do with him and his perfect family

Sadly he passed away last October. He went to sea in 1943 to fight the Japanese and provided for his family for the next fifty years working in the aerospace industry.

His favorite poem was High Flight by John Magee

yes, my parents are coming over for dinner.

He's deceased I had thought going to the cemetary on Father's day was the most difficult thing until my 2 sons father past and I had to bring them.I learned that if I'd not experienced my own grief I would never have known what they were feeling and how to deal with it,Became aware of how blessed i was to have had my parents as long as I did. Miss them all greatly.

He died when I was 6

I hope not. He has been dead for awhile.

but i'll see my stepdad, the one that means something to me.

When I close my eyes, and visualize him in Heaven. This is his second Father's Day with Jesus.

And if I do the monster better watch out, he owes my mother a great deal. I'm planning to start of with him kissing the ground she walked on while begging her forgiveness.

We live in different states, 2000 miles away but he spends Nov-May in my home state of Florida so it's cool I still see my pops often

unfortunately I live almost 1000 miles away from my parents and cant afford to make the trip.
