I have a few atheist friends and I feel bad because I know they're going to be swimming in satans lake of fire and I'm going to be in heaven.

Well assuming afterlife's are real then atheists are more then welcome with us pagans unlike some "people" we only wish a painful afterlife on those who've earned it by harming others not simply because they disagree with our beliefs but then again we're generally nice people and don't value hatred unlike another group of people who I'm sure you can guess the name of.

This is an often debated matter going back a very long time and one which has, at times, divided the Christian Church.

Do those who lead a life as Christ taught us to be consigned to hell if they are nonbelievers?

Increasingly people belief that this is the case and I personally hope that this is the case, as it would seem to me to be unfair to exclude those cultures that lead peaceful and good lives, but because of there geographical remoteness - never heard about the sacrifice that was made for all mankind.

Consider this. It's pretty much acknowledged that more people will end up in hell than in heaven, so doesn't that mean that Satan has won and is more powerful than God?
