Worl peace is impossible unless the earth is just a big ball of rock. People will always have different opinions which causes conflict. Take people off the earth but then you have the food chain. Animals eating eachother isn't true peace. Take animals off the planet you still have water eroding rock which isn't true peace. Take the water away all the plants die leaving a big ball of rock that is true peace.

Along the same frame of thought. "God" fought "satan" and an army of angels. If theres no peace up there, how the hell are we going to find it down here? haha... If god were The Father, I'd ask to be put up for adoption. He's no leader by example...

If mother nature doesn't send something cataclysmic and world shattering our way, and our own baser natures don't get the better of us, eventually I think the world will know a true and lasting peace. Sadly, there are probably still oceans of blood we must cross before we get there. I know it sounds naive. But, I don't care. I choose to believe it. I have to believe it.

Mankind will have to pull together to survive anthropogenic climate change. I hope that Phillip K. Dick's vision of mankind devolving into anarchy due to environmental destruction was wrong. Certainly we have the technology IF we can ever be educated well enough to have the will.

A TEA Party Congressman said, "Compromise is when liberals decide to accept everything conservatives want to do." The same outlook is prevalent among religions. There is little chance of peace as long as those attitudes control masses of the population.

The Bible has said that there will be a false peace for 3.5 years during the 7 year tribulation period. The only peace during the thousand year reign of Christ on Earth. So, I guess you could say there will be world peace. However, until that happens, world peace doesn't have a chance.
