The only way to not die is to not be born.
But really, think about it. If no one died but people were stil being born, there would be WAY to many people and life would be horrible.

Death isn't a disease, so it needs no "cure".
Living an immortal life would be more torcherous than pleasant. Eventually life would get boring and repetitive, there'd be no end.
    I know I'd go insane,
So, I hope they don't find a "cure", and if they do, you can garuntee I won't be getting it.

Death certainly isn't something to be "cured". If people didn't die then the world would be so grossly overpopulated that we would run ourselves and everything else, I'm sure, extinct. Death is as much a part of life as actually living is. Energy is only borrowed and eventually it will have to return back to the Earth. It's an intriguing sentiment though.

Doubtful, they would first have to figure out how to stop the decay of brain cells over the course of time as humans age. Makes things a bit more complex.

It's a process, one that no one enjoys the thought of and that everyone fears no matter what they may say, but a process nonetheless.

What? Christ is coming here to change the earth. He doesnt want us "up there." Read the Word ma'am.

    John 3:13.
"And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."
    Ac 2:29
"Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day."
    Acts 2:34-35
"For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool."
    Acts 13:36-37
"For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep (died), and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: But he, whom God raised again (Joshua Christ), saw no corruption."
    Hebrews 11:32-35
"And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets...Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection..."

Whoever taught you, that after death, you go to heaven, has never studied the Word. Dont believe the lies.

John 3:16 For God so love the word he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the the world to condemn the world; but that the world though him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Acts 2:30 Therefor being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of te fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would rise up Christ to sit in his thorne (2 sam 7:12, Luke 1:32, 2 Tim 2:8)
Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ that his soul was not left in hell, nither his flesh did see corruption (psalm 16:10)
Acts 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses
Acts 2:34 For David is not ascended into heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, SIT THOU ON MY RIGHT HAND (psalm 110:1) really if you read acts fully together it tells you (ps. the reason why it's captilize is because thats how it is in my Bible)
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brothern, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins (jer. 31:34, Luke 24:47)

um and Hebrews 11:32-35 if you read it tells you that thoese who don't believe in God suffer but thoes who believe goes stronger verse 32 in hebrews 11 talks about how he could not tell you of all the good things the propets have done for there is no time. verse 33 in hebrews 11 talks about thoes who have faith in God can stop the mouth of lions (referring to when David was put into the lions den) again in verse 34 of hebrews 11 it talks about going though fire and surving only thoes who have faith in the Lord, and in your weekess time God makes you grow strong if you have faith in the Lord. verse 35 of hebrews 11 says that women who believe in God does not go though what women who does not believe in God goes though.

Any more verses you would like me to look up? I'm not pulling this out of thin air I went in my Bible and read the verse that you gave me but instead of saying ha ha you see no heaven I read on. You can't stop in the middle of a book and say there is no happy ending cause this page is all about trouble.

    ACTS APOSTOLOS
Ma'am, you are deceived if you think anything in Hebrews 11, is talking about "people that didnt believe." Paul makes it clear that David, Jepthe, etc. did not go into heaven, which ALL believed, and it was Daniel who stopped the mouths of lions, etc. These all were tortured, sawn asunder, and did not "go into heaven," but await the resurrection from the dead, to once again "walk among the living." Whoever fed you that crock of crap, is not a Christian, and has never studied the Word, and if "you came up with it," then you have never studied the Word. Christ says PLAINLY in John 3:13, that He ALONE ascended to heaven, and NONE OTHER. Paul repeats this in Eph 4:9-10, Rom 10:6-7, and Agur Solomons son repeats this in Pro 30:4-6. NO MAN ASCENDS TO HEAVEN. Peter re-affirms this in Acts, when he says "David did not ascend into heaven, but is fallen dead, and saw corruption. David was a humble man of Hayah, a man that only had one sin counted against him, when all others have millions of sins counted against them. DONT THINK FOR ONE MOMENT that Christ came to "take you to heaven" when that is nowhere in scripture. Instead, this is what He said.

"Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth." Not the heavens.

Not possible, if it were possible to end death by natural causes, rescources would run out and starvation would follow, so there would have to also be an invention that allows eating to not be required.

Even if we did, which violates many of the basic laws of thermodynamics, we would eat up all of our resources very soon, and unless all of us were also sterilized the planet would fill up very fast, sounds to be like the set up for a dystopian science fiction.

I personally do not believe the soul dies and the body ages and decays and becomes part of the life cycle again so in a sense it doesn't really "die" either it is just recycled.
So your question is irrelevant to me because I do not believe in death.

Never knew it was a disease....its a natural process and i think its one of the things that makes us human, that fact that we live our life as best as we can then die....plus that would just bring too many problems!!

greatly extended life perhaps, but not infinite life. We already have stem cells growing arteries and this will progress to organs etc. But like said below, we may become part bio part mechanical . Problem is, would we feel touch? Would we sense taste? And if not, what would be the enjoyment in life?
