It was inevitable, wasn't it?
The story of Amanda Knox, the pretty U.S. exchange student convicted by an Italian trial jury of murdering her roommate, is going to be a Lifetime movie.
"Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere is lined up to play "Foxy Knoxy," the wholesome-looking girl next door gone bad, Deadline.com reports.
Seattle native Knox, who was 20 at the time, and her Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were arrested in November 2007. They were accused of killing Knox's roommate, 21-year-old Meredith Kercher, who was found slain at the couple's cottage after what prosecutors described as a night of violence, sex and drugs.
The charges were that Knox, Sollecito and Rudy Guede sexually assaulted Kercher and Knox slashed her throat with a knife.
Prosecutors described Knox as a "coiled spring" filled with vengeance because her "prissy roommate" had insulted her grooming and sexual habits.
Knox was sentenced last December to 26 years in prison. She insists she is innocent and has appealed.
But while the Knox story might make for a good at-home movie night for you (microwave popcorn, anyone?) Meredith's father, John Kercher, isn't so pleased. He reportedly told the Daily Mirror, "I don't like the idea of a film based on Meredith's death. Seeing it graphically portrayed on the big screen is a horrible thought."

No, this isn't appropriate+2I think her case is still under review. If I were her lawyers I wouldn't want it made. Unfortunately, the Italians got it wrong, she did not do this.

What ever to not profiting off of ones crime. Don't tell me she would not receive some kick back, someone will see some money in her behalf.
But, Lifetime? The Women In Peril Movie channel? Could be two movies. One from the killer's p.o.v. and one from the victim's perspective.
I think not!
I know I'm sick and tired of movies which seems to idolize criminals while making the victims of their crimes victims of the movie industry, too. We all know who Bonnie & Clyde are and many can probably remember who portrayed them in the movies, but can anyone remember the names of their victims? Same goes for "Scarface" and the more recent, "Public Enemies." I just don't think we should ever take our eyes off the victims or forget their names b...

Wouldn't it be refreshing to see a movie about the victim. Make her the star and make the murderers forgetful in such a film. Show the true horror of murder and mayhem.
Okay, I've tried to edit this twice because I did not repeat anything but when I post that is how it is coming up. Weird.
"Lost F**king Morons." jms
2) Torture was abolished more than 200 years ago.
Wake up, we no longer live in the Middle Ages;
So torture was abolished more than 200 years ago? WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU CALL WHAT SHE DID TO HER ROOM MATE. A love tap?
Me wake up, WAKE UP ALREADY. She is not a victim, She is a Murder. A Cold Blooded Torture Causing Murder. WAKE THE F'n Up
