Kids are easily distracted, so it's no surprise that if you smack a sticker of Elmo on an apple, they're more likely to eat it. And a recent study proved exactly that. Researchers, whose findings appeared in the Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, discovered that when elementary students were offered apples and cookies with lunch, they were more likely to grab the apple when it included a cartoon sticker, like Elmo from "Sesame Street" for example.
Do you think health food companies should brand their healthy food with cartoon characters in order for kids to eat them? Or will some students still be grabbing cookies instead of fruit no matter what?

The only exception I'd make is for items your child has TRIED ONCE, and said he doesn't like it. My parents often put these vegetables in casseroles or soups and we found out afterwards what we ate.
But who knows.Maybe kids think they can kill him that way. ;D
Play Really good cartoons, in other words, kids.
I know, for a fact if you give your child a sticker, it doesnt help them eat healthier in anyway.
Im a single parent and i've experimented with this topic, and it didnt help my little girl eat healthy.
