Why was the Bible published and under whose Authority/culture does the Bilbe text resemble?

Not quite sure but as I get older, I realize that we fight for things we don't and will not ever own. (Material things)...Why do we fight wars? No one every really wins...All is temporary and in vain....Just live and respect one another.. I know, I know..It's just saying it's easier to love ...

Realize that there wasn't a single book called "the Bible" until the First Council of Nicaea in 325 CE. That book didn't receive final form till later. Before that, there were random writings. If "the Bible" had a 'publisher' it would be the Council of Nicaea.

The Bible is God's message to men. It is his offer of understanding and friendship. It consists of 66 books written over 3000, or so, years. The Protestant Bible was canonized in 365AD in response to gnostic, Christian like heretical twistings.

All created things come with an owners manual. In order to take care of the vehicle, we need to know how to take care of it.
God created us and wants us to know how to live so we don't end up in the junk yard.
