Why is it “greed” to want to keep the money you’ve EARNED, but not greed to want to TAKE somebody else’s money

Because being a freeloader and not paying your dues is wrong, especially if you could so easily afford to do so that you wouldn't miss the money in any real terms aside from the psychological desire to acquire as much as humanly possible.

why are people making this question of liberals and conservatives. instead of ethics. you earned money its yours , you stole it isn't . no brainer.
  • Fortuna... sue 2012/09/21 23:15:57
Because it's very, very thinly veiled politics.

Good question. Too bad you won't get an intelligent answer. Why is it alright to TAKE or DEMAND from someone else instead of getting it on your own? Liberal lunacy

I am saying we can not have a conversation here on Sodahead with out it being afbout liberals and conservatives, or right wing and left wing. for ome reason everybody has to be lump up into a group.

In my opinion greed is wanted more than you need or deserve, wouldn't you say if you earned the money you deserved it? And wouldn't you also say if want to take someone elses money that you don't really deserve it, they do? That's what I think at least.

Sorry I may not understand yours.
You say " And wouldn't you also say if want to take someone elses money that you don't really deserve it, they do?"

I think that to take someone elses money that someone else earned and not you is greedy.

Indeed you are a conservative after all
I have no issue with helping anyone with a hand up but why should I have to carry anyone for the rest of my life

Many many other people would disagree with you claiming me to be a conservative. I have many liberal opinions but still conservative opinions a few even contradict each other. I should probably start considering myself something else other than liberal, is there a term for someone who is in between?
