Why gay couples face big hurdles to parenthood?

The biggest hurdle is that two people of the same sex cannot physically have a baby between the two of them without a donor.

Because whether they like it or not, statistics show that children generally do better with a mother and a father in the home, so people would naturally prefer to place children in a two parent (male and female) household.

But a gay couple can not give a child what a man and a woman do collectively. That is a biological fact NOT an opinion. A father brings something to the raising of a child that the mother is incapable of and the mother brings something to the child that the father is incapable of. there aren't enough mothers and fathers to go around, and some of the biological parents are monsters who torture and sometimes kill their offspring

gay couples who want kids and who have their best interests at heart would be better parents than some biological parents ... but your view of adoption would deny the kids the chance to be adopted by quality people who would take great care of them ...
