It's always a matter of subjectivity. One persons curvy, is another person's too much, or too little. I'm a very large framed "Husky" type. Both age and time make it a constant battle to just stay soft around the edges. So, if one is in to the skinny musician type, I would not be your cup of tea.

The saving grace for many of us is, the notion of how people get better looking the more you get to know them.

Work on what you can change and accept what you can't! Easy to say... Harder to do!

Moreover, with nearly 80% of Americans overweight and half of those obese... You--if curvy--are in the majority.

the fat over hang and when there's fat over hang there are stretch marks but they clearly edited that out.

I don't see stretch marks as a big deal... lots of people have them. And while fat is less attractive in certain areas it big people still find people that like them. It's hard in the teen ages but I'm sure it will slowly get better in the 20s. But you gotta keep finding the happiness in life :)

I don't have an accurate answer to that. I prefer keeping myself slender, and I've put effort into it since I was in the third grade. I just prefer the look. Some guys have told me, especially in recent years, that I'm too thin for their taste. It's all subjective really.

True! And manufacturers have responded by adjusting the "sizing" accordingly. Todays 12 is closer to yesterday's 14. It's just good marketing. We are all growing, and Big Medicine along with Big Agra wouldn't have it any other way. (had to throw some politics, in.)

There are many women and men who have bought into the commercial image of women as skinny things with oversized breasts as the way women should look. Go look at women from all other countries, of all ages and you'll see that only those places that have come under the influence of the American Model of Womanhood are thin women considered to be attractive. Women have curves, that is the design.

Actually there are alot of guys that PREFER 'curvy' women, but alot of men are "appearance perfectionists". The sexy girls are usually mean and bitchy, and that's not so sexy!

Chubby? WTH? That's considered curvy these days? I'm hour glass curvy and petite. I've never had any problem. Most, if not all men, I know, like a woman with curves and very feminine. Curvy is technically where a woman's measurements are in proportion with her body.

Is Beyonce chubby? Hell no. This woman is curvy and hot.

Good attitude! I have enjoyed the company, of some truly stunning females. And, each of them were a pain in the ass, and felt their main contributions to the relationship, was their beauty. I grew up, and learned to seek out more average (whatever that means) females, and was delighted with what they brought to the party. Not being hung up on their looks allowed them to develop personalities and other more intimate appreciations. So, I sincerely, know what you mean. ;-)

Yes, I am comfortable in my own skin... I know I am a very sensual, loving person that has a lot to give. I am not hung up on my looks or high maintenance... I am just me.
