I am studying to be an RN and this is what my teacher said:
Although it appears that corn passes through your gastrointestinal system undigested, most of the internal nutrients are broken down and absorbed into your bloodstream. The fibrous outer shells of corn kernels, however, do not break down due to lack of the necessary digestive enzymes.

It's God's way of giving our poo character!

This is a fun family values toy sold by Glenn Beck for kids of Conservatives:
    south park s corny poo
Just imagine corn adding a little extra character to those shapes! corny poo

The shell of the corn kernal is of a different kind of material than the interior of the kernal.

The interior is digestsable by humans. The exterior is not.

I guess you could call me a Poo-ologist. I own and operate my own ranch/farm. We get LOTS of Poo here. Makes good compost for the fields.

As a heart attack. I have 15 milking cows, 40+ goats, 25 Pigs with at least two that are going to drop litters shortly, 10 sheep and working on adding alpaca's shortly. We've got at least 35 chickens and as many ducks and turkeys. Each month we "harvest" and give a large portion to the food bank in the area.

PLUS we have wild deer on the land and a couple of bears and at least one puma/mountain lion. Seen tracks and scat but not the animals themselves.

Oh the rest of the quote, "Are you serious" answer "As a Heart attack" Just one of those saying I've picked up over the years.

It is a lot of fun and a lot of very hard work. But I wouldn't go back to working for the government agency I was working for ever. Much better for my health and much better for my family.

Well do what I did. But some property at your age and build on it. I started with just 3 acres and added to it every year. I now own over 640 acres and have the opportunity to buy three more pieces which will more than triple the current size. (they are in foreclosure and will go for pennies on the dollar since it is all out in the country)

I see you are in Canada. LOTS of good land there.
  • SebaThe... sjalan 2012/07/11 05:31:51
    SebaTheSociallyAwkwardPenguin
for sure, but how do they get foreclosed?
  • sjalan SebaThe... 2012/07/11 05:36:06
    sjalan
The investors who bought them failed to pay for them. The banks took them back and are selling them at auction.

So start looking. I am sure you will find something near where you live that would be a good starter property. You're NEVER too young to buy property.

Corn is a GMO crop and our liver can't handle the toxins in it. We should not eat it. That is why corn syrup is do bad to eat. Monsanto has the patten on most of the seeds for the crops we eat. They had herbicides (Roundup) in the seed. The Plant Cells keep changing and mutate.

Corn can benefit your health, as it delivers B vitamins, folate, vitamin C, beta-carone, protein and fiber. In order to reap nutritional benefits from corn, it is important that you don’t cover it in butter.
