On questions I've asked, I rave to let the person know that I've read their response. On questions that I answer, I rave if I agree with the comment or if it's witty, funny, or clever.

I do so for a few reasons.Sometimes someone will post a comment i wished i had thought of myself so i will then rave them for it or says something so thought provoking i want to let them know how impressed i was by their comments. and further i will also rave someone with a like opinion of my own as long as both our opinions are based on fact and not made up information.

I use it to rave good opinions in the comments. And I rave the question if I comment and to acknowledge the effort the poster took to post it. I do not have to agree with the posters opinion to rave it.

Same reasons for me. To say you have seen what they said, for outside posts, like groups you subscribe to, I like what I like.

It shows that you appreciate their response and that it either made you laugh , cry or moved you in some way .Also I rave people I know even if I may not agree with them it shows I respect their decision. I have to say for my own polls I like using my gifs but I will rave as well in fact I like my gifs all over SH so here is another one for Jacks Pearl xxx lol

We also need to rave to build our points to move up to another level. When I reach level 20 that's the time I'll stop rave just to build on my level. but I love to rave opinions that have a point

I was a little slow to catch on to the ''rave'' thingy but I learn quick...on my own questions I do it to give people a kind of bonus for the comment and if I see my friends have answered the same ones as me I try to rave them all.
If I see someone's answer and don't know them if I like what they're saying I'll rave that too...
I'm becoming a raving lunatic LOL :))
