Why do people hate Christians so much?

They forcefully want to convert nonbelievers. It's annoying and it really grind my gears.

they are the most hypocritical and judgmental people on this damn planet! >.> They claim to be so "Loving", yet they go around shoving their religion into people's faces. They go around yelling at Gays, calling them "Fags" and telling them that they're "sinful", "evil", and "disgusting" beings! But they're loving right? Also, they pick and choose which parts of the bible they wanna obey. They never obey the whole thing. "Homosexuality is a sin"... yea you know what else in the bible is a "sin"? HATE and JUDGING! Also, the bible says a woman must be executed on her wedding day if she isn't a virgin. It also states that shellfish is bad. It says Haircuts and Tattoos are forbidden! How many Christians follow those parts!? NONE! Yet, when Homosexuality comes into question, it's "Bad" and "Sick"... -_- There are so many flaws and hypocrisy Christianity comes with... And that's why I hate Christianity!

I'm a Christian and I haven't. I'm pretty sure there's others. I don't preach that Homosexuality is a sin, I actually have homosexual friends. None of my straight friends and relatives dislike homosexuality. We actually dislike the people who put others down because of that, so you shouldn't generalize us all.

Homosexuality is a sin, like adultery, immorality, lying, stealing, murder, hate are sins.
It is not worse, nor it is better than any other sin.
Every sin leads to spiritual death, unless you believe in Jesus Christ, repent of your sins and strive towards sinless life from then on.
As Jesus said, "If you love me, you will obey what I command.".
Jesus would not hate homosexuals, he will call them like any other sinner to repentance unto forgiveness of sins.

I don't know any non-Christians who hate Christians. I do know a whole bunch of non-Christians (myself) who are sick of having to be constantly vigilant to harassment from Christians, and especially to harassment against our children from Christians. There are also those who are sick of Christians trying to insert their religion into our public schools and government.

For centuries they have inflicted harm on others, and not just those that are not Christian, they also inflict it on other Christians who have slightly different(or sometimes radically different) belief systems, and even to those within their belief system. Christians have enjoyed a position of privilege and power for centuries and people are getting sick of it and are pushing back. This is what Christians deem as "hate" or "presecution". If I tell them I'm not going to join in on their group pray I'm the one being offensive, if I put a fish with legs that says "evolution" in the middle that would be "slander" or my favorite "sacrilegious", if I tell them I don't want them coming to my door to tell me about Jesus I'm being rude because they're "just trying to help me". It this sickening sense of entitlement, and arrogance. Having a religion is like having a penis, its fine to have one, and it's even ok to be proud of it, but don't whip it out in public or shove it in my face.

Some people are stupid. I don't hate Christians, I just dislike the ones that are self-righteous and believe that they are right about everything. I had one tell me that because I don't believe in God or go to church that I was going to hell. It's people like that which make me angry and are deserving of my hate.

People hate Christians because of the extremists.
You know, the ones who believe beating their children with a rod is okay because, "the Bible says so." Also, the ones who are intolerant of people of other belief systems, the ones who shove beliefs down other people's throats, the ones who are bigoted against homosexuals, and then there are the priests and nuns who are pedophiles, etc. etc. They are the reasons why people hate Christians. Some people think all Christians are like that, which isn't, never has been, and never will be true.

Personally, I have no problem with anyone's religious beliefs... until they start trying to force them on me, or trying get laws passed which violate the constitution.

Believe whatever you want; just recognize the fact that everyone else gets to do the same.

I have not many

I don't hate Christians as a group, but as a gay man I can tell you many Christians have made it very difficult not to generalize. Luckily I have some across some Christians who, while they may not like who I am, NEVER use slurs or hate speech when we talk. Those people remind me not to stereo type any group.

People who hate Christians can't stand to be reminded of their deviant lives, which happens everytime they encounter one.

Yes everytime I meet a preist, I'm reminded that I'm a pedophile, or when I meet a pastor I'm reminded that I take money that is not mine and spend it on positutes and drugs, and everytime I meet a Evangelist, that I blantantly lie about the holiness of mundane objects in order to get people to buy them so that I can live high while my own doctrine tells me to give all my possesions to the poor......
