I can only speak for myself. I am an atheist. I do not believe in any god therefore I do not accept Christianity in my life. I think there are many examples of people who have used Christianity for evil, but I would blame that on the person.
As for Christians? No, I don't hate them. I don't like anyone who expects me to follow their religious beliefs, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, etc... As a gay man it can be difficult dealing with some Christians and I have often been called all the typical gay slurs from some of the them. It would be very easy for me to fall into the trap of assuming all Christians are like that, but I make a conscious effort to remember that is not the case.
If you are asking this as a Christian, I would suggest you read through some polls on this site that deal with other religions, homosexuality, or abortion. You will see why many people who call themselves Christians are disliked so intensely.

There are many, too many, who profess their Christianity, and act anything but the way the "Christian" is supposed to act, from what I've seen.
Liberal Progressives are on a course to destroy organized religions because they want control of people's lives through temporal goods. When people believe in a spiritual plain, they are harder to control.
This is not about religion or God. It's all about control. Progressives want control through THEIR god, government.
Many people don't wan't to recognize anything higher than themselves, their appetites and desires.
The problems arise when certain groups in this country think that they have the right to tell other groups what to believe (or disbelieve), in flagrant disregard to the First Amendment.
And yes, they sure do.

The majority of Atheists live a much more moral life the christians do. Christians repeatedly tell Atheists that they hate god, however it is impossible to hate things that do not exists. It is a complete failure to use logic, just like you did in your post.

You mention logic. Logic requires the ability to reason. The problem is that without the existence of God, there is no reason for reason and you would have no rational reason for reason. Moreover, without a reasonable trustworthy, greater than source for reason, then how can you trust your own reason!
There's no hate at all in my post! It is interesting however that you point out hate, logic and morals as if you are an expert, forgetting that you can not accept these as a reality. Doing so admits free will, defeats "nature" controlling your actions and without question, provides evidence supporting a creator. Without God nothing exists!

As for contradictions, the following chart should keep you busy for several years.
The Bible is Christianity. Deviate from the Bible and you deviate from God. You are no longer adhering to the Christian teachings of Jesus Christ. Catholicism is not Christianity. Read the Bible, not the "Catholic Bible" (which should be your first clue) and find the truth! It's always been there, I wonder why the Catholic leaders felt a new and changed version was required? God didn't mess up! He didn't leave anything out? Maybe it's because the Catholic Church and the Pope are clearly shown to be unacceptable by God in his word.
The god in the bible slaughtered millions and proved through the biblical scriptures he is totally unworthy of any status.
Ironically, I too find that the more I read the more perverse it gets. The difference is the author of what I am reading.
Why do you feel you are entitled to define "God"? Are you one yourself? Have you ever observed the behavior of a "god"? Or, have you simply made exception for yourself by mindlessly and irrationally twisted the word of God to resemble something easier for you to reject?
Read the Bible 100 times and without application your understanding will be very limited. For a practical example, we can look at Dr.s. A Dr. can read textbooks and med. journals until he's blue in the face, but with taking what the book says and applying it, or "practicing" it, he knows very little about being a Dr. His understanding is limited to the words in the books he reads.
Similarly, Gods word needs to be applied before understanding can be achieved. Read the words all you want, but realize you'll never know what it means until you apply it!
