Why do people choose to spend time hating things of very little importance?

SO many people comment saying, "no, I absolutly hate those people", or "I hate that look, its so ridiculous", or "I hate it when people talk like that". I'm not saying people can't or shouldn't have opinions,just wondering why hate something you're not entitled to do? Or something you don't HAVE to wear? Or say? I don't hate anyone, and never will. Even though people have literaly begged me to hate them. Now THAT seems ridiculous to me. Not someone's appearance, voice, culture, age, etc.

I HAVE NO IDEA! I know this senior who's pretty nice except she hates EVERYTHING and EVERYONE it's really annoying. Look I don't mind if people hate things because we all do but there's no need to hate everything. I feel like I can't talk to that girl because I don't know if something I'll say will bother her

Because its a very descriptive word. I don't think people actually hate. I have changed my words to intensely dislike to soften it up a bit. I think hate is a really harsh word and sounds so final.

Most issues in Life are FLEX issues... there are very few FLAME issues...but, most get caught up in the FLEX issues of life... the way people dress, styles of music, types of food, places to live, political party... RELAX PEOPLE!!!
