One of the benefits to having only one kid is that you have no one else to compare them to, even unintentionally.

I'm also the "good" one, and the 'responsible' one, so my sibs get held in comparison to me.
Also the middle child too but more so known as the rude, lazy and irresponsible one - yet I'm the one who's paying most of the bills unlike my older sis with her 3 kids.
