and just because you marry a woman and she takes your name does not make her your PROPERTY!!!
This attitude is prevalent around me, I see it in: my dad, my uncles, male cousins, etc. WTF!!!

+3It's not as common in America as it is elsewhere.. I feel, it's Mainly a cultural thing.. Women in Mexico tend to do the "woman's" job, cook, clean, while the man does the "Man's" job of working morning till around dinnertime.. The woman should have dinner ready, should have woken up early morn to prepare the man breakfast.. & should have his lunch packed or be prepared to take it to him when the time comes. That's how my granparents are & many fellas from Mexico have this sense of superiority over women.. It's not JUST MEXICO, but I know not examples from anywhere else ATM.
