it's because gay men were really supposed to be born women and vice versa for women..think about it..transgenders basically are gays that go through the whole physical process
Oh please, most of my lesbian friends are much more feminine than me. I'm a straight tomboy girl, who loved playing in the mud and is always more interested in "male activities" than female ones. Am I supposed to be lesbian now?
The real question is, why do lesbians who supposedly like women look for women who look exactly like guys. And why do guys who are gay seek out men who dress in drag who look like women.
because everyone is an individual and they are comfortable in their own skin. I hate labels as much as my gf. Gay, Straight, Bi, transgendered, asexual, trysexual whatever it doesn't matter we are all humans. No one should be put in any kind of box.
I was raised by white lesbians; none of them were of butch/femme roles...they were just womyn...no lesbian looks or acting/behaving like lesbians at home or in public!!
But, I have no reasons why gay/bi boys act like womyn and lesbians act like boys (not all do)..I will never get it, but who cares; it's weird but whatever??
Why is the sky blue? Why is the grass green? Everyone has their own personality traits. Not all feminine males are gay, and not all tomboy females are lesbian.
Therefore, why is that so? I'm talking about the ones that do portray the stereotype. Is it because by acting feminine, they feel like it's more acceptable for them to be gay?
They have a female brain in a male body. Something went wrong during the pregnancy maybe, perhaps the wrong hormones at the wrong time. We are all female in the early fetal stage, only becoming male if certail triggers are present. I guess if that trigger doesn't tell the brain, it might continue on its fashion conscious female journey. :-)
The sky look blue because blue light is more scattered than red. Leaves are green because green light is the least usefull to photosynthesis and is reflected. I don't think I have ever met a feminine guy who wasn't gay.
It is a valid question in some cases. Perhaps a masculine female who is gay actually wants to be male, I dunno. Take Ellen. She always wears men's suits, keeps her hair cropped really short. Her wife/partner though is a girly-girl. Why her significant other is attracted to another girl who tries to look like a man, when she could just have a real man instead, is one of the unexplained mysteries of sexuality.
It probably seems that gay guys are feminine and gay women are masculine. But consider for a moment the fact that you can't account for those that don't act as you suggest because they don't all fit that stereotype. All men don't act alike simply because we're all men. Same is true for women...
Some might "choose" to behave that way. But you have straight men that are more effeminate then gay guys. You just can't paint everyone with the same brush.
So in my reality you're a cross dressing dinosaur who sounds like a snarky douchebag and maybe has questions about how he should go about coming out of the closet himself. Do I care why? No.
And you seem to be taking this particular topic WAY too seriously. There are more important things to think about than how gays and lesbians comport themselves. But if that's your thing, knock yourself out.
What you're refering to sounds more like TV personalties than real people.
Brains wired wrong maybe?
But, I have no reasons why gay/bi boys act like womyn and lesbians act like boys (not all do)..I will never get it, but who cares; it's weird but whatever??
Why are some straight guys ______ while others are _________?
Same answer for ALL these questions: Everyone is what they are, and trying to understand why one person isn't more like another is a silly exercise.
Do you WANT everyone to be the same?
Take care,

Not sure if serious or trolling.
I was referring to the ones that do. I think it's a valid question which people have asked?

Maybe I can dress up as a cross-dressing dinosaur and no one will bat an eye lash to ask why :P
