Why do atheists refuse to claim such butchers as Mao Zedung, Stalin, and Hitler, while bringing up things like the crusades?

Seems to me when atheists want to really tear into Christians, they talk about all the people who were persecuted by Christianity, while ignoring the fact that Millions upon millions were killed by atheist butchers. Why do you think that is?

First of All, Hitler was a Christian, that bloke is one of yours.

Second of all, none of the others did what they did because of atheism, or even in the name of atheism.

The crusades, the witch hunts and heretic burnings, on the other hand, were all committed, explicitely and openly, because of the religion and in the name of the religion.

they would be inbred because adam and eve would have to mate and then their children would either have to mate with their parents or siblings, and so on.... (obviously..)

i believe in evolution, because i have researched it, not because someone told me it was so and that's that. i believe because it makes SENSE. its LOGICAL. religion is neither of those things, especially christianity.

i wont ever meet HIM because HE is imaginary, but if i did i would only have one question: "why do you LET so many innocent lives die, EVERYDAY, and do nothing?" (when in the bible he can smite people, kill entire towns, flood the earth... and now.. he doesn't do sh!t.) if he is ALL powerful, he COULD do something, so then... what? he CHOOSES not to?
