I am sick and tired for being hated on about being a whovian (doctor who fan). Sorry for being so intellectual I like to laugh, cry, gasp and hide behind a cushion for a great British TV show that has been running for decades.

Nope, you guys are great.

In the earlier days of Dr. Who, before it ever was known of in the US, it was a far more scary and sinister show. It had an atmosphere of menace and the Doctor was eccentric as opposed to a charicature. Of course the sets and aliens and show today is very well produced, but I miss the days when folks, especially kids, were terrified of the show, while being unable to miss it.... It's always had a frightening fascination component.
