Married does not mean you have to be bored. Why do people portray it that way? There is always something to do. Hang out with friends, go for a stroll in the park and feed the ducks, join a jeeping club ( if you have a jeep) the list goes on and on. And you can always do things without your partner as well. You don't always have to be joined at the hip.

Independent to do what? The whole idea of being "single & free to do what I want" is an illusion. What happens is that you're not single & free to do what you want. Usually, you're single, lonely, and watching re-runs until 4:00 AM.

Well there is the problemb my friend. DO MOT EVER change for anyone. If they do not love you for WHO and WHAT you are... tell them to kick rocks. I'm a woman and I can tell you that we get this idea in our heads of what we want and if the man changes we don't want him...its true..he's a pu@@. Stand your ground and be who you are. Women are never happy with a man that "changes" we come to realize what we really wanted was what we had in the first place.

The funny mind of woman that i will never understand . I agree with you . Now that i am myself again she is sniffing around same as the last one did . But i can never go through that again . Have to fight to stay who i am ? Just not worth all the trouble to me. 55 now and it just isn't all that important to me any more . You know i have had girl friends after this last divorce and every time one of them gave me an order because i am easy going i showed them the door . Thanks for the advise .
