Who's Funnier: Men or Women?

I say that women are funnier because I am a woman. I don't always listen to statistics, and I'm not gonna believe that men are funnier just because a new study "proves" it. (And the fact that that word was in quotes really says it all.) It is a matter of opinion. I think it really depends on the individual people. I know that there are a lot of funny men and a lot of funny women.

Ok i'm gonna be honest i chosen women because A. thats my gender and b. every guy is mostly funny from being imerture. us women are funny we are just funny in a diffrent way to the thing we call male

Women have to force theirselves to relax and enjoy humor but a guy can see humor in about everything, and men can laugh at theirselves but women never can

When thinking this over, the comedians I think are really funny, generally are men. Don't know why, but this seems to be my thinking. And they are much funnier in slapstick. (Thinking Peter Sellers).

Hands down men r funnier.

men are good with stupid acts and sex jokes. women are more clever jokes and more variable ones. so women are funnier in real way but in day by day men win with their easy laught jokes.

most comedians are men. when someone thinks comedian, the first thing that pops up in your mind is a guy so i guess its just kinda natural, i think, well, thats how i see it.

men make me laugh a lot louder, perhaps because they are natrually clumsier, and another thing is they dont take life as seriously so they always see the lighter side of everything

I could'nt name even one female comic. Men generally are'nt as inhibited about what they joke about like women are and that makes them funnier IMO......

Men tend to be more humorouse because of their dumb thoughts- but that's just my opinion.

Oh my....please don't get offended, but men are really funnier...I don't know why but that is a fact...My husband has such a fantastic humor, and he could have been a great stand up comic...he finds humor in everything...but it is not blue humor, it is just funny, and people love him, and mind you he is battling many medical issues, but with all that to deal with, his humor remains a constant and is awesome and that is why I love him...

Even though there are a few female comedians there are more men. Usually women don't know how to tell a joke. I know two women who try to insert a chuckle here and there especially at the end of their sentences and they end up laughing at the most inappropiate times and things that ARE NOT funny. But don't try to tell one of them that joke that everyone else seemed to like. The other one will laff at it but the one who will not laff at it says she is open minded and yet if you don't agree with everything she says or go along with it somewhat guess who has a problem?

Absolutely, BUT, men are funny because they usually include themselves with the presentation creating a stereotype that is audience expected whereas women, well, the men in the audience are first looking at how to bed the presenter -and then - what did she say?

Based on the amount of female comedians VS male comedians....Males win....

Also most males are usually more open to talking to strangers and making an ass of themselves.

But I have met my fair share of women who would hang their ass out a car window to moon the crowd.

yes men are much funnier than women because they dont have responsibilities as woman .women have much responsibilities as wife ,mother ,and employee too but most men are irresponsible except for themselves .

men are never husbands, fathers, or employees? that's a gross and absurd generalization. here's one that isn't: men use their minds where women use their hearts. that's why men come up with the interesting things of life, and women do little else besides support. it's up to you to decide which you think is more valuable, but women bore me.
