There was a small downward dip on the street in front of my house. Hardly ever any automobile traffic. One day I jumped on my big brother's bike and the rest is history. The bruises healed fast.

I was 7 years old and I remember it clearly. I had my cousin's hand-me-down old bike which Dad had repainted bright green. He put me on the seat and went up and down the street with me, running along side and holding onto the bike. After the third or fourth trip, I realized he had let go and I was actually riding by myself! It startled me and I promptly fell off! Wasn't hurt and got right back on. Won't ever forget that day.

my elder bro held my bicycle as i started and then left it all of a sudden. i continued riding thinking he was still holding me and fell off when i realised he had left me :D
