Well, at least it was once upon a time.

I've never been to Europe, so I can't really say.

They both have good music.

America AND Europe.

Europe.. More interest there for me.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm happy living in Canada and all that, but my heart is in Italy.

Considering I've never been to Europe.

This is the only thing you have to know.........Europeans STILL clamor to get over here and live.....but it's only a few Hollywood elitist liberals who want to live in Europe......because over there, the wealthy live a great life and the middle class...not so much. Here, the middle class lives better than 99% of the rest of the planet.

It's mostly people from the poorer parts of Europe who would immigrate to the USA. They come to the UK as well (or try to). I'm pretty sure America has poor parts too. And if we're including the whole continent of North America against the whole continent of Europe, there are definitely poor people in North America that aren't in the USA.

Middle class have it pretty sweet over here in Australia... Wouldn't be putting that 99% out there

Europe is way better. The only thing I like about America is that it's less crowded.

People there tend to be nicer. Not that Americans aren't nice. I have many nice American friends. Unfortunately, I've met a lot more American assholes.

I have met a lot of EU jerk wads as well.

It's all a matter of personal experience and taste. Americans tend to be driven by materialism. It's the culture and influence of all the media over there. As a result, bragging is a regular occurrence with the Americans I've met, and when I got annoyed and told them off, they didn't realize it had been bugging us.

Friend it is the same on both sides of the pond. I married a Hugairian. On more then one occasion I almost threw her sister out of my house for the on the side insults about how things are done here. She had no idea why I was upset. The bragging and bravado is universal. I have spent time in England, Italy, Saudia Arabia, Bahrain, Ierland, Geramany, Coasta Rica and Canada. Same shite either way. Even my brother and I got mad at some Texans when we were in Mexico for acting like jerks.

Hmm, well perhaps your experiences have been different from mine. Those I've met don't usually behave that way. Sure, there are some that have been obnoxious, but not as many.

it is equal on both sides. You think the French got their rep by accident. You can't exstrapolate your very small sampling range to an entire country. That is why a few morons think that global warming is real and or man made. They took a short sample range and then extrapolated it to a huge sample range. I am an engineer and I know this does not work.

I have met many people, from all over the world. It is not a very small sampling range, and you can't automatically assume it is so. Culture has a very large impact on the people in certain societies. For example, Asians tend to be more conservative people because of the strength of religious beliefs and the idea of family. Some European countries have a reputation, but I think America's is big enough as well. Like you said, you can't extrapolate a very short sampling range to an entire continent. France and Hungary aren't the only countries in Europe. There is no need to call people morons because they have differing beliefs.

How many could you have met? 10,000 or 100,000? There are several million people in the world. Have you met every one in England? Or how about Every one in Connecticut? So yes I can assume you have a very small sampling.
First off France and Hugary are not the only coutries I metioned. Yes, I can call scientist that do not practice proper method morons.
